Research

My primary research interests are in applying operations research methods to complex problems with applications in extreme event response, aircraft routing, renewable energy management, and the public sector.
 
 
Teaching

My primary teaching interests lie in the area of deterministic optimization including network science, scheduling, optimization algorithms, heuristics, multicriteria optimization, and integer programming. With my teaching, I utilize new technology to entice students including blogs, tablets, and video tutorials.
